NY Attorney General to Host False Claims Conference

The Attorney General of New York is going public with his campaign against false claims.
Attorney General Eric Schneiderman will host a conference at NYU Law School on June 8, 2011.
It’s called – Fighting Fraud Against the Government in the Empire State.
Special guest speaker?
Harry Markopolos, author “And No One Would Listen,” and original whistle-blower in the Bernie Madoff scandal.
One session – titled “The Goals and Capabilities of the New York State Attorneys General Office to Investigate and Prosecute Fraud Against the Government” will be moderated by Nancy Hoppock, Executive Deputy Attorney General for Criminal Justice.
A second one – “New Paradigm of Public-Private Partnerships with NY will be moderated by Neil Getnick, Chairman, Taxpayers Against Fraud Education Fund and a partner at Getnick & Getnick.
A third will look at “Successful Qui Tam Partnerships with the N.Y. Attorney General's Office.
