Mike Munro to Norton Rose Fulbright

Mike Munro, a former deputy general counsel at Transocean Ltd., has joined Norton Rose Fulbright in the firm’s Houston, Texas.

Prior to joining Transocean, Munro held global compliance risk roles at energy companies Baker Hughes and the Bristow Group.

He previously worked for The Dow Chemical Company for more than 15 years in various legal, compliance and regulatory-related roles.

“Mike’s experience with regulators, as well as his deep knowledge of laws and regulations that have a global impact, will help us continue to meet the legal and compliance risk management needs of our US and global clients,” said Linda Addison, Norton Rose Fulbright’s managing partner.

Munro received his JD and MBA from the University of Notre Dame and his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
