Ralph Nader Left Right Conference May 27 in Washington, D.C.

Ralph Nader has a new book out. It’s called — Unstoppable: The Emerging Left-Right Alliance to Dismantle the Corporate State (Nation Books, 2014).

Nader says that while left and right will not likely agree on many issues — including social issues like gun control and abortion — they do agree on many corporate power issues –like corporate crime, the minimum wage, civil liberties, empire, corporate welfare, trade, the commercialization of childhood and the defense budget.

And tomorrow, May 27, 2014, in Washington, D.C., Nader’s Center for Study of Responsive Law will hold a one day conference bringing together left and right on each of those issues.

Nader and Jim Hightower will make opening remarks — followed by eight panels.

The opening panel on corporate crime will be moderated by Corporate Crime Reporter editor Russell Mokhiber. On the left will be Bill Black of University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law and on the right will be Zachary Kitts of the K&G Law Group.
